More About This Home:

This home adapts the best of the traditional along with the contemporary. Architecturally it is designed in a plantation style derived from Frank Lloyd Wright himself. The lot was minimally excavated to preserve the height of the pad and allow for incredible views of downtown Reno and Mt. Rose. To take advantage of this ideal location the home is outfitted with numerous courtyards, oversized picture windows, and large Anderson sliding Doors. Inside the home you will find it elegantly outfitted with classic materials, natural stone, porcelain tile, and floor to ceiling ledgestone fireplace surrounds. The lighting gives a contemporary feel by using oil rubbed bronze artisan made fixtures. The guest rooms are equipped with large closets and dedicated baths. The laundry room has been enlarged to turn it into a desirable location to double as a craft room or project room. This house has ample space at a well designed 4350 sq. ft. to entertain friends and the family.

About the Arrowcreek Community:

Excerpt from the Reno Home Blog:

“I thoroughly enjoyed my drive out to Arrowcreek Estates last week! The closer I got to the neighborhood, the bigger, and more spacious the desert seemed, in its vast splendor! Upon entering the gates of the Arrowcreek community, I told the security guard I was headed to the clubhouse, so that’s where I went. On the way there, I was in awe of the picturesque scenery. Desert mountains make for a peaceful show of blazing colors at sunrise and sunset. Throughout the day, shadows from the sun rest quietly upon different portions of amazing rock formations; everything within me wanted to rest on a lounge chair in the back yard of one of the terra cotta, or sand colored homes, and gaze at the beauty all day long! I could stay in the same place all night long, too, for a clear view of the moon and the stars. Such things are hard to come by in the city. For those who may not want to rest, there is a beautiful clubhouse at Arrowcreek, buzzing with activity. The clubhouse itself feels like home. In fact, with the library, television set, stereo, kitchen, wooden tables and chairs, counter, patios, and sliding glass doors, it looks like home, too! A home away from home…. The only thing lacking is a bedroom! There is, however, plenty of room to host parties, a multi purpose room, vending machines, a fitness room, and bathrooms, complete with locker rooms containing showers!”
